The Institute for Mindfulness Studies offers information, programs, workshops, and services to enhance awareness of mindfulness practices and ways in which mindfulness-based practices can be incorporated into one’s daily life.

The bulk of the IMS content, programs, and course offerings are created by or in collaboration with Scott Rogers, M.S., J.D., who is IMS founder and director.  You may learn more about Scott Rogers by clicking here or visiting

The services offered are not medical treatment or psychological or psychiatric therapy, and is not facilitated by a medical professional.

Always consult with your doctor or therapist before participating in an IMS program. Consulting your doctor is especially important if you take any form of prescription medicine or you have a pre-existing condition. 

Our partnerships with other professionals is intended to serve as a resource.  Any work you do individually with one of these or any professional is a relationship you elect to develop directly with them, is strictly between you and them, and is not one in which the Institute for Mindfulness Studies is a part, and you agree not to look to hold the Institute responsible for any outcomes or consequences to experience.
